Hi. I'm Alan Shelor. I've been in the Real Estate business here on the Crystal Coast of Carteret County for the past 32 years. I opened my own office in Atlantic Beach in 1985 specializing in all types of resort properties. From condos to commercial as well as homes, lots and acreage. With all the advanced types of communications developed over the past few years, I still believe that most "Buyers" and "Sellers" want to deal with a person -not a machine. Buying or selling creates a lot of anxiety within a person and I want to make it as enjoyable an experience as possible for them. A "good deal" is one in which everyone walks away from the "closing" happy. In addition to being a Real Estate Broker, I am a N.C. licensed Real Estate Residential Appraiser and a licensed General Contractor. I live on a deep water canal here in Atlantic Beach. I am a boating and fishing enthusiast and spend as much time as work will allow fishing the beautiful waters of the Crystal Coast or enjoying family outings on the nearby barrier islands.
